Tour Itineray A

This is the jungle trip done for people interested in having the maximum of contact with the nature and also interested in learning about the Ujung Kulon and its mystery. On this Jungle trip we will take you to the south coast  of peninsula area, This place offers a dense and virgin forest to be explored as its not a touristy area, so there you will have a fantastic jungle experience. On this tour you will spend two nights at the jungle camp  where some activities will be done during your staying and the rest of the tour will be done camping in different areas of the Ujung Kulon.

DAY 01 : JAKARTA - UJUNG KULON

Depart from Jakarta at 6am than directly to  Paniis Beach  Village where the road down the coastline ends, is just outside the park boundary passes through hills, rice field,  beaches, take approx 5 hours, the village is surrounded by coconut palms and tropical landscaped gardens, arrived (rest/lunch) continue to walk  (trekking) to Paniis water fall at  Honje Mountain the slope of this area the habitats of the endangered Java gibbon, black monkey and variety of animal and birdlife back to village, stau overnight (free program)

DAY  02.  TAMANJAYA - KARANG RANJANG

After  breakfast  walk (trekking) to Karang Ranjang at south coast through forest holding a variety of wild life including pigs, squirrels, leopard, Javan monkey take 5 hours, arrived (rest/lunch) at guard - post and over night at the camp, dinner time will be served at 6 : 30 p.m (free program)

DAY  03.  KARANG RANJANG - CIBUNAR

After breakfast, proceed for a nature that offers the excellent vegetation of the Park. Walk heads to the region of Cibunar-Cidaon in the western part the National Park by following the lowland tropical forest track by the coastal forest to Cidaonjoin the Cibunar river where you will see a variety of animals, scenic beaches, ox, and wild pigs. This track occasionally leads you to the trails of one-horn Rhinoceros, the endangered animal in the world which remains only 60 currently.  over night at Cidaon grassing ground at guard - post or by tent, dinner time will be served at 6 : 30 p.m (free program)

DAY  04.  CIBUNAR - PEUCANG ISLAND

After breakfast at 8am, we board the boat (cruising) Peucang Island is truly a secluded paradise  located at the most western edge of Java Island. Surrounded by a soft white sandy beach, clear blue waters, and enchanting coral reefs,  Peucang promises serenity for whoever steps on its sands. and is home to a variety of species of wild animals such as monkeys, hornbills, monitor lizards, wild boars, toucans, sea hawks, and more. The most notable of these is the barking deer that are found abundantly around the island, than continue to Citerjun coral reef for snorkeling to see variety of fish at coral reef "angelfish, surgeonfish, clownfish, batfish, butterfly fish etc, overnight at Fauna Eco lodge, dinner time will be served at 7pm (free program).

DAY  05. PEUCANG ISLAND - HANDELEUM - SUMUR

After breakfast at 8:00 am than boarding the boat to Handeleumisland situated among a group of small island just off the north eastern coast of the Ujung Kulon Peninsula. Arrived than  canoes trip up the Cigenter river meander through dense overhanging rain forest for 2 hours. Seeing the beauty of the islands typical wet tropical forest at Cigenter. The habitat of Python, hornbill, type of monkey where Crocodile and Rhino are occasionally sight in this area. The charm of this river lies in its tranquil, primeval beauty, Ujung Kulon Park was an unbelievably fantastic experience. It’s remarkably peaceful and lovely here, yet full of primeval – rainforest and trees that have fallen into the river. The rich colors of the place are so wonderful, and the strong tropical sun creates great pools of mottled light on the riv er’s surface, back to boat than continue for return back to Sumur port stop over at Badul island just offshore here is a tiny, sandy island, Badul, which is surrounded by a good reef. You enter the water from about 1 meters off Badul’s. Coral growth around with the variety of both hard and soft corals was good. Visibility during snorkeling was less than 8 meters. Schools of bannerfish, angelfish, surgeonfish, clownfish, batfish, butterfly fish and fusiliers inhabit the reef, and we saw some bright nudibranchs, arrive at Sumur than transfer back to Jakarta. End the trip

What you have to bring : Light clothes like T-shirts One small backpack and comfortable boots for jungle treks (additional sandals for for explorer & observation treks) light and warm socks, raincoat, plastic or waterproof bag for your personal belongings, hut, sunglasses, sun lotion, insect repellent, toilet paper, camera, mobilphone and cards, swimming suit and towel ersonal medical kit and recommended medicine like anti diarrhea medicine, dehydration salt, aspirin and antibiotic

Tips for visitors : To avoid the adverse effect of severe heat, smear uncovered skin with sunblock and to protect your health, use antimosquito cream while traversing the forest. Wear muted-color garments while watching animals in their habitat or grazing locations. For safety's sake during a trip, every group of tourists is advised to use the services of a guide. Don't disturb or feed wild animals in the national park, especially long-tailed macaques on Peucang island, which look so tame. Don't throw rubbish in the park, but collect and take it back to the guest house or outside the park. Obey all regulations effective in the national park and also the local customs.

DAY 01 : JAKARTA - CARITA BEACH

Picked up time in Jakarta airport than we drop off to Carita beach at west coast of Jakarta with 4 hour driver - this area is one of the main get to visit the Ujung Kulon, Carita beach is one of the most beautiful bay in Java a trofical beach resort in the front of Sunda strait with full of green trees, arrive check in at hotel/rest/overnight.
